cott’n is proud to be partnering with Clover London to offer personalised embroidery, adding the sweetest touch to the seams of your clover gown.

from handwritten notes to special dates and initials, we will collaborate on your unique piece before being discreetly sewn into the lining of your dress.

all embroidery is hand stitched on your choice of antique linen or beautiful silk offcuts rescued from the cutting table of the clover london studio, paired with a curated palette of blue hues or ivory thread.

then, once the day is over, you can remove your embroidery and frame as a keepsake.

how it works.

  • using the form below, send us your ideas and we will be in touch to discuss colours, design, budget and timescales. whether it’s initials, a date, a small motif or a longer message, we will work together to create your vision. we can even transfer a loved ones handwriting to embroidery creating a keepsake to treasure forever.

  • your special piece will then be carefully embroidered by hand on either antique linen or a matching off cut of your wedding dress fabric. you will be shown a mock up ahead of starting work to approve the design.

  • once complete, we will post your embroidered piece directly to you. bring it along to one of your fittings for your seamstress to delicately sew to the lining of your dress.

  • almost anything you want! common designs include initials (in a heart or on their own), a special date or a small motif which holds significance to you. we can also take an image of a loved ones handwriting and transfer over to embroidery, making your day extra special. take a look at the gallery for some examples.

    if you want something a bit more complex we can certainly discuss this with you.

  • pretty much anything you like. patches are ideal for your wedding dress, but if you would like to have your bouquet ribbon, veil or shirt embroidered we can price this for you. we also embroider antique handkerchiefs for your bridal party which can be found here.

  • prices start from £40 for simple initials. we want each design to be unique to you so we will work with your budget to create your ideal embroidery. view our priceless here.

  • the more notice, the better. once you have chosen your dress its best to start the process. typically each embroidery has a lead time of 4-6 weeks but if you need something sooner please include this in your enquiry form.

  • we can absolutely offer this service if it is something you really want. patches are recommended, however if you wish for your embroidery to be seen, please reach out to discuss your ideas.
